| Coach Michelle White enters the 2008 season as the first-year Head Coach of the MacMurray College Highlander women’s volleyball program. |
| For the last four years, White has coached junior varsity volleyball and assisted with the varsity program at Routt Catholic High School, Jacksonville, Illinois. She helped lead the Lady Rockets to three regional championships, two sectional championships, and two Elite Eight finishes, including one state appearance. |
| After a successful high school and club volleyball career, Michelle earned a scholarship to the Florida Institute of Technology in Melbourne, Florida. She was the starting setter for the Lady Panthers from 2000-2003. White was named Sunshine State Conference Player of the Week in the 2002 season, and was chosen to be the team captain for her junior and senior seasons. She still holds multiple setting, serving, and defensive titles in the Florida Tech record books. She graduated in 2004 with a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration. |
| Returning to Jacksonville after graduation, White worked in the education field as well as coaching. She is currently pursuing her master’s degree in Sport Management from the American Military University and is the Media Center Aide at Jonathan Turner Junior High School. |
